Baracchi Smeriglio Syrah DOC

A red wine from Baracchi that expresses the varietal character of Syrah with restraint and clarity. It has a compact ruby colour. The nose offers dark berry fruit, sweet spice hints and floral touches without being intrusive. The palate is soft, supported by lively but well-integrated tannins, with acidity keeping the sip flowing. Overall it is flavourful and concrete, suited to immediate drinking and able to accompany a range of dishes. Serve slightly cooler than room temperature in large glasses to encourage aromatic development. It pairs well with grilled meats, rich sauces and medium-aged cheeses, and can also support mushroom dishes and moderate spices. Open shortly before serving to appreciate its aromatic and flavour development.
