Bardstown Bourbon Co. Amrut Indian Single Malt Finish Blended Whiskey (75cl, 55%)

This is a blended American whiskey from Bardstown Bourbon Co., made in collaboration with Amrut Distillery of India. Straight rye whiskey is finished in barrels that held Amrut Indian single malt, then blended with straight bourbon. The blend is 43% nine-year-old Indiana rye, 20% eight-year-old Indiana rye, and Kentucky bourbons of 14, 10 and 11 years. It is bottled at 55% ABV (110 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The nose brings baked cherry, campfire and vanilla, wrapped in cinnamon and herbal tea. Ginger and malt lead the palate, and the finish is complex and lasting.
