Bardstown Bourbon Co. Goose Island Stout Barrel Finished Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

This is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Bardstown Bourbon Co., made in partnership with the Goose Island brewery. It blends three bourbons: 56% seven-year-old, 26% six-year-old and 18% nine-year-old. The six and seven-year-old whiskeys spent a further 12 months in Bourbon County stout barrels before being married with the nine-year-old. It is bottled at 100 proof. The nose is described as dark chocolate, honey, toasted almond and vanilla cream. On the palate come roasted malt, cacao and allspice.
