Bardstown Bourbon Company Discovery Series #2 (75cl)

Discovery Series #2 is a blended Kentucky straight bourbon from Bardstown Bourbon Company, in a 75cl bottle. It is built around a 12-year-old Kentucky bourbon, with accents of older and younger bourbon added. The Discovery Series is a collaborative blending programme, in which aged bourbon from partner distilleries is assembled under Bardstown's direction. Bardstown Bourbon Company opened in 2016 in Bardstown, Kentucky. The colour is deep amber with mahogany tones. The nose has maple, cinnamon and ripe pear over aged leather. The palate shows tannic oak in rich, warm flavour, and the long finish fades into warm oak spice.
