Barelegs is an Islay single malt from the Islay Boys, made at Lagavulin and bottled at 46% from ex-bourbon casks. It is non-chill-filtered and uncoloured, and pale gold in colour.
The nose is peaty, with glowing charcoal and a scent of harbour air. The palate is earthy and peaty with a touch of sweetness, crisp cereal notes and vanilla, and it fills the mouth. The finish is long, with peat smoke that stays throughout.
