Barolo Cannubi from Fratelli Serio e Battista Borgogno is a red wine macerated for about 30-40 days in wooden vats with frequent pump-overs. Malolactic fermentation takes place spontaneously in steel containers, then the wine ages in Slavonia oak barrels for about 30 months and rests in bottle for about six months before release. It has a ruby red colour with garnet hues and aromas of red fruit, spices, tobacco and woody notes. On the palate it is round and harmonious, with a velvety texture, and the finish is long and persistent.
