Barrell Bourbon Batch 032 is a blend of straight bourbon whiskeys, distilled and aged in Tennessee, Kentucky and Indiana, then bottled in Kentucky. The barrels used were 5, 6, 7 and 10 years old, all American white oak.
It is bottled at cask strength, 115.34 proof.
The aroma is fresh oak and grassy spirit, like chopping wood on a late summer morning. The palate is simple at first, but with a splash of water it opens into a rich, oily, heavily textured whiskey, the quality often called Kentucky chew.
