Barrell Bourbon Batch 036 Cask Strength (75cl, 57.2%)

Barrell Bourbon Batch 036 is a cask strength bourbon bottled at 57.22% (114.44 proof) in a 750ml bottle. It is a multi-mashbill blend of bourbons from Indiana, Kentucky and Tennessee, with components between 7.5 and 15 years old. The derived mashbill is 79% corn, 16% rye and 5% malted barley. Full-bodied barrels with black cherry notes were combined with oak-forward, nutty barrels, then younger barrels with stone fruit and pepper, and finally older barrels with milk chocolate, cinnamon and pecan. The nose offers honey, lime, tangerine, apricot and cherry jam. The palate is rich with caramel, cherry cola, pecan pie and chocolate torte, then citrus zest with a little pepper and cardamom. The finish is cinnamon, white pepper, citrus zest and cherry.
