Barrell Bourbon Batch 34 (57.3%)

This is Batch 34 of Barrell Bourbon, a blend of straight bourbons aged 6, 8, 10 and 15 years, sourced from Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee. It was blended and bottled in Louisville, Kentucky, by Barrell Craft Spirits at a cask strength of 57.31% ABV, and it is non-chill-filtered. The blend combines 8 year old barrels with hazelnut and dark cherry character, high-corn barrels with brown butter and apricot, high-rye barrels with cinnamon and allspice, and a vatting of 10 and 15 year old barrels for earthiness and light tannin. The nose is eggnog, cider, elderflower, candied orange peel and violet, followed by a spicy, jammy palate.
