This is a blended bourbon from Barrell Craft Spirits, finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry barrels and bottled in a 75cl bottle.
The blend draws on straight bourbons aged between 6 and 15 years from Kentucky, Indiana and Tennessee, with a mash bill of 80% corn, 16% rye and 4% malted barley.
The nose has baked apple, sweet butter and toasted pie crust, with cigar box and golden raisin. The palate brings vanilla, pound cake, baked pears with star anise and black pepper. The finish is long, with buttercream, pepper and baked stone fruit.
