Barrell Craft Spirits Seagrass Gold Label is a 20 year old rye, a blend of aged Canadian rye whiskey finished in Martinique rhum agricole, Madeira and apricot brandy casks. It was blended and bottled in the United States by Barrell Craft Spirits of Louisville, Kentucky.
It is bottled uncut and unfiltered at barrel strength, 128.12 proof (64.06%), and each bottle is numbered and signed by the blender.
The nose offers dried apricot, grilled pineapple, brown sugar and Madeira fruit cake. The palate is dense, with dried stone fruit, candied orange peel, maple and baking spice. The finish is very long, with dried apricot, toasted oak and espresso.
