Barrell Triple Rum Cask Finish is a bourbon blend in a 75cl bottle, made from whiskeys sourced in the United States and Canada. Some of the barrels were aged for as long as 25 years.
Each whiskey was finished in its own rum cask from one of three Caribbean nations: Jamaica, Barbados or St. Lucia. The finished components were then blended together.
Pale gold in colour, it shows orange flower water, vanilla and a waxy edge on the nose, with pineapple and passionfruit following. The palate moves from matcha and clove to sugarcane and molasses, then tropical fruit. The finish recalls piña colada, with honeysuckle and lime zest.
