It matured for over four decades in barrique, developing a rich, layered aromatic profile.
On the nose there are deep notes of cocoa, vanilla and dried fruit, with spicy accents and a light trace of fine wood. The palate brings ripe plum and dried apricot, with hints of honey and tobacco, a velvety texture and a long, persistently aromatic finish with elegant sweetness.
