Basil Hayden Malted Rye Whiskey (75cl, 40%)

Basil Hayden Malted Rye is a rye whiskey bottled at 40% (80 proof) in a 75cl bottle. The mash bill is 100% malted rye, and the malting is what gives the whiskey a softer, more mellow spice than a typical rye, with delicate sweet and floral notes. It is presented as a new flavour profile within the rye category, lighter and approachable. The nose is delicately floral. On the palate there are soft notes of vanilla and toasted rye bread, leading to a light finish of chocolate and warm spice.
