Bear Fight Orchard and Wine is a limited release Kentucky straight bourbon, finished in Calvados and Port casks. It is made from a mash bill of corn, rye and malted barley and bottled at 45% in a 75cl bottle.
The two finishes add a fruit-led depth to the bourbon while keeping its structure bold and refined.
On the nose there is baked apple, warm spice and toasted oak. The palate brings dark berry richness and vanilla, with rye spice lingering behind. It suits drinking neat or with a little water.
