Belfour Rye is a rye whiskey from Belfour Spirits, put out under the name of Ed Belfour. It is bottled at 47% ABV (94 proof) and has a golden honey to medium amber colour.
The nose is burnt, sea-salted vanilla caramel with dark chocolate. The palate is sweet, with caramel and brown sugar, and the finish is full-bodied and velvety, with a warmth that lingers and a note of peppermint.
