Bell's Original is a blended Scotch made by Diageo. The Bell name goes back to Arthur Bell, who founded the business in Perth in the 1850s.
The blend draws on up to 40 malt and grain whiskies from across Scotland, built around single malts from Blair Athol, Dufftown, Glenkinchie and Caol Ila. It is bottled at 40%.
The nose has cut herbs, heather, cereal and soft honey. The palate is light-bodied, with barley malt, ginger, red apple and a little peat, and the finish is medium, with grain spice, citrus and soft smoke.
