Bellarine Oak Series Single Malt Whisky (70cl, 52%)

This is a non-peated Australian single malt from Bellarine Distillery, in a 70cl bottle at 52% abv. It is the first release in the distillery's flagship series. The whisky is double matured, first in red wine French oak barrels sourced from regional Victoria, then in American oak bourbon barrels. The release celebrates what oak can give to malt spirit during maturation. The nose brings cinnamon, cherries and apple crumble with custard. On the palate come chewy caramel fudge and raspberry jellies, and the finish carries melted honey, butter and Christmas spice.
