A 26 year old Ben Nevis from the Highlands, distilled in 1998 and bottled in 2025 by The Whisky Jury. It comes from a single cask, number 1559, and is bottled at a cask strength of 53.8%, non-chill-filtered and of natural colour.
The nose brings mango, apricot, orange marmalade and honey, with light white wine, malty depth, vanilla and delicate herbs. The palate is oily, elegant and full-bodied, with dried fruit, toffee, grapefruit and a hint of tobacco, balanced by a fine, almost salty minerality. The finish is long, with warm wood, candied citrus peel and a touch of chocolate.
