Benchmark Old No. 8 (175cl)

Benchmark Old No. 8 is a bourbon whiskey, here in a large 1.75 litre bottle. The name comes from the marks that surveyors leave behind. In 1773 three brothers, James, George and Robert McAfee, left Virginia and headed west into the territory that became Kentucky. Their company followed a native trail to the great buffalo crossing and surveyed the land where Buffalo Trace Distillery now stands. The bourbon honours those early American explorers and the benchmarks they left on the land.
