This is a 12-year-old Benriach single malt bottled by Cadenhead at 46% abv, in a 70cl bottle. Benriach stands south of Elgin, next door to Longmorn. The distillery was founded in 1898, closed in 1900 and did not reopen until 1965. It is one of the few in Scotland that still has its own malting floors. Since 2008 the company behind it, Benriach Distillery Co. Ltd, has also owned Glendronach and Glenglassaugh.
