Benriach – Horizons 12 Year Old Triple Distilled (70cl, 50%)

Benriach – Horizons 12 Year Old Triple Distilled is a single malt whisky from Benriach (Speyside). Aged 12 years, bottled at 50% ABV, 70cl. Matured in oloroso sherry cask finish. Horizons was launched in 2010 and is the result of an experimental run of triple-distilled single malt produced by the distillery in the late 1990s. Aged 12 years, it has been matured in bourbon barrels and finished in oloroso sherry casks. A Speyside distillery that makes a range of different single malt styles. It primary make is a non-peated spirit, however it also does runs of peated and triple-distilled spirit and is one of only a handful of distilleries in Scotland to still operate its own in-house floor maltings.
