Smoke Season is a Speyside single malt from BenRiach, matured in two types of cask: bourbon barrels and fire-toasted virgin oak. It is bottled at cask strength, 52.8%, in a 70cl bottle.
The nose offers smoke, citrus, spice, honey, caramel and nutmeg. On the palate, smoke meets baked apple, orange and honey, with citrus, a salty note and spice. The finish is long, with campfire, milk chocolate and oak.
