Smoke Season is a small batch release from BenRiach, made entirely from peated spirit and bottled at 52.8% in a 70cl bottle. It draws on the seasonal period when peated spirit runs through the stills, a tradition the distillery revived more than 50 years ago.
The malted barley is peated to 45 PPM. The whisky is matured in virgin American oak and bourbon casks, which add toasted sweetness and depth to its smoky, sweet style.
