BenRiach – Smoke Season (70cl, 52.8%)

BenRiach Smoke Season is a small batch single malt bottled at 52.8% in a 70cl bottle. It celebrates the time of year when peated spirit runs through the stills, a tradition revived at the distillery over 50 years ago. It is made from 100% peated BenRiach spirit, using malted barley at 45 PPM. Maturation in virgin American oak and bourbon casks adds toasted sweetness and brings depth to its smoky, sweet style. The high strength is meant to give lovers of peated whisky an intense, unadulterated taste of the distillery's sweet peat character.
