Benriach The Smoky Ten is a 10 year old Speyside single malt made from a combination of unpeated and peated spirit. The peated malt uses barley smoked with Highland peat, a style Benriach returned to in the early 1970s.
Three casks, each matured for at least ten years, make up the whisky: bourbon barrels, Jamaican rum casks and toasted virgin oak.
It is described as layers of sun ripe fruit, aromatic smoke and toasted oak spice, ending in a balanced sweet and smoky finish.
