A single cask Benromach from Speyside, matured for ten years entirely in a first fill sherry hogshead. It was distilled on 9 May 2014 and bottled from cask 486 on 20 May 2024 at a cask strength of 59.6%. The distillery's own bottling, it yielded 305 bottles, non-chill-filtered and with no added colouring.
The nose is led by intense dark chocolate and soft stewed fruit, with cinnamon, cloves and a hint of smoke. On the palate, strong chocolate notes meet fruit, with fine oak spice and gentle smoke. The finish is long and warm, with chocolate and spice lingering alongside a subtle trace of smoke.
