Benromach 21 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from the Benromach distillery. It is bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle, and the youngest whisky in it is 21 years old.
The distillery was built in 1898, during the whisky boom, and closed again as soon as it was completed. It changed name often and was closed and reopened several times. Gordon & McPhail bought it in 1993, and it reopened on 15 October 1998 in the presence of Prince Charles, exactly 100 years after its founding.
