Benromach 2005 Bourbon #343 is a single malt from the Benromach distillery in Speyside, matured in a bourbon cask and bottled at 57.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Benromach was built in 1898, during the whisky boom, and closed again as soon as it was finished. It changed name often and was closed and reopened several times. Gordon & McPhail bought it in 1993, and it reopened on 15 October 1998 in the presence of Prince Charles, exactly 100 years after it was founded.
