This is a 10 year old single malt from Benromach, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Each batch is made up of 80% first fill bourbon barrel and 20% first fill sherry cask whisky. The two are married together for the final year in a first fill Oloroso sherry cask.
The nose is typically described as sweet green apple and pear with creamy dark honey, then soft vanilla and gentle smoke. On the palate come malted cereal, stewed fruit, warm toffee and a hint of black cherry. The full-bodied finish carries malted cereal and soft smoke.
