Benromach – 10 Years 100° Proof (70cl, 57%)

Benromach 10 Years 100° Proof is a Speyside single malt bottled at 57% in a 70cl bottle. The name refers to the old British Imperial proof scale, on which 100° proof equals 57% ABV. It has a traditional, lightly smoky profile that recalls the old Speyside style of the 19th century. This is the earlier version of the bottling, which the distillery's Cask Strength has largely replaced in its core range. Benromach was founded in 1898 by the brothers Duncan and John MacCallum.
