This Benromach is a Speyside single malt, aged 11 years and bottled at 48% in a 70cl bottle. Exclusive Germany Batch 2 is a small batch drawn from five bourbon barrels and one first-fill sherry hogshead.
The nose has stewed fruit, toffee, roasted notes and a little peat smoke. On the palate come stewed fruit again, pears, milk chocolate, vanilla pods and smoke like that from a grill. The finish is long, with smoke and chocolate, and the whisky fills the mouth.
