This Benromach single malt is a 12-year-old release in The Awakening Series, distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2025. It comes from Speyside and bears the reference #627.
The nose combines raisins, tart blackcurrants and Demerara sugar. Dark berries and cane sugar give the palate a full, sweet character, accompanied by restrained smoke. Fruit and gentle smoke continue through the long finish.
