This is a 15 year old single malt from Benromach, bottled at 43% and sold in a 70cl bottle.
The notes describe a dry, malty nose with barley, oak and dry pine, followed by sweet spices, a hint of prune and maple fudge. On the palate it is big on malt, with a little fruit, a grassy, slightly herbal edge and ground ginger. The finish is bittersweet, with ginger and dry sherry, turning almost hoppy after a while.
