Benromach 15 Year Old is a Speyside single malt made at the Benromach distillery in Forres, which is owned by Gordon & MacPhail. It matured in a selection of bourbon and sherry casks.
Bottled at 43% ABV, it keeps the light peat that marks the house style.
The nose is of dried fruit, orange, ginger, cinnamon and a discreet smoke. The palate is round and intense, with raisin, chocolate, spice and burnt wood. The finish is long, with sherry, soft smoke and malt.
