This is a 1998 single malt from Benromach, bottled to mark 20 years of distilling at the Speyside distillery since Gordon & MacPhail took it over. They acquired the practically derelict site in 1993 and reintroduced the brand in 2004.
Benromach's house style echoes the lightly peated Speyside whiskies of the 1950s and 60s. This anniversary release was bottled in a run of 3,000 bottles.
