Benromach 1998 is a cask strength single malt released to mark 20 years since Gordon and MacPhail reopened the distillery. It contains some of the first whisky distilled there after the reopening in 1998. Bottled at 56.2% ABV, it is one of 3000 bottles.
Lightly peated, it was aged in a combination of bourbon and sherry casks. It is described as combining fruit cake, vanilla and gentle smoke.
