Benromach – 2015 11 Years Old Contrasts: Port Cask Finish (70cl, 46%)

This is an 11-year-old Speyside single malt from Benromach, from its Contrasts series, in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It was distilled in 2015 and bottled in 2026. The whisky matured in first-fill bourbon casks, then spent more than two years in port casks. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour. The result is a fruit-led profile with a light smoky close. The nose offers fragrant red berries and mandarin. On the palate, lively wild berry notes meet demerara sugar and cocoa powder. The finish leaves a hint of gentle smoke.
