A 21 year old single malt from Benromach, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is peated and of natural colour.
The whisky was matured in first-fill Bourbon and Sherry casks, and shows sweet Sherry aromas.
The nose is sweet Sherry with citrus, ginger and oak underneath, and a touch of smoke. The palate opens sweet, with cracked black pepper, Seville orange and raspberry, leading to baked apple and subtle spice. The finish is charred oak and soft smoke.
