Benromach 30 Year Old is a Speyside single malt bottled at 43% ABV. It was matured in a mix of first-fill and refill sherry casks.
The nose combines rum-soaked raisins and roasted stone fruit with vanilla, beeswax and a faint trace of smoke. On the palate there is rich Christmas cake with marzipan, dried tropical fruit, waxed hardwood and fine smoke. The finish is long, with dried fruit, warm spice and gentle wood smoke.
