Benromach – 40 Year Old (2021 Release) (70cl, 57.1%)

Benromach 40 Year Old is the first annual batch release of the distillery's 40-year-old single malt, issued in 2021 and numbering 1,047 bottles. The whisky was laid down in 1981 and spent four decades in first-fill Oloroso sherry casks. It is bottled at a cask strength of 57.1%, in natural colour, in a 70cl bottle. The deep amber malt comes in a Benromach bottle with an embossed, gold-foiled label, inside a black stained solid oak box with copper-coloured detailing and printed metal plaques.
