Benromach 10 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from one of Scotland's last independently owned distilleries. It is made by hand and matured in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks.
The distillery's style is lightly peated, and this ten-year-old is its flagship whisky, combining malt sweetness, rich fruit, gentle smoke and soft oak spice.
On the nose there are red apples, malted barley, sherry-soaked raisins, soft smoke and chocolate. The palate brings stewed fruit, creamy malt, roasted nuts and gentle peat smoke, and the finish is long and warming, with dried fruits and oak spice.
