Benromach – Aged 15 Years

Benromach Aged 15 Years is a single malt from one of Speyside's last traditional, independently owned distilleries. It was matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon and sherry casks. The character is lightly peated and old-style Speyside, with sherry influence, oak and fruit sitting alongside a smoky backbone. The nose is sherry-rich with dried fruits, dark chocolate and orange peel, plus warm oak, figs and cinnamon. The palate brings stewed plums, raisins, toffee, roasted nuts and charred oak with gentle peat smoke. The finish is long and warming, with sherry sweetness, soft smoke and dark chocolate.
