Benromach – Cask No.1 Exclusive 20th Anniversary

This is a single cask Benromach from Speyside, bottled to mark 20 years since distillation restarted at the distillery. It comes from the very first cask filled there in 1998. The whisky was distilled on 21st August 1998 and matured for 20 years in a first-fill sherry butt, number 1. It was bottled on 21st August 2018, exactly 20 years later, at cask strength. The release is one of 575 bottles.
