This is a Speyside single malt from Benromach, part of the Contrasts series. It was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2023 at 46%, in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was matured exclusively in first-fill, air dried virgin oak casks. It is a limited edition.
The nose brings vanilla pudding, fudge, citrus, smoke, toasted grain and wood. On the palate it has an oily texture with sweet smoke, vanilla, black pepper, peppermint, tobacco and oak. The finish is medium in length, leaning towards spice and smoke.
