Contrasts Cara Gold Malt is an 11 year old single malt from Benromach, a limited release matured in first fill bourbon barrels.
It pairs Cara Gold malted barley, more often used in beer for its fruity character, with the distillery's signature lightly peated malt. The release is built to put the barley itself in the foreground.
It is described as having a drying mouthfeel and rounded malty flavours.
