A Speyside single malt from Benromach, part of the Contrasts series, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2023 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It was matured first in first-fill bourbon casks, then spent five years in Bordeaux wine casks. It is non-chill-filtered and a limited edition.
The nose offers honey, flowers, spices and dried fruit. The palate opens fresh, with berries, peppery spices and toasted oak. The finish brings gentle peat smoke at the end.
