Benromach – Contrasts: Organic 8 Year Old (70cl, 46%)

Contrasts: Organic is an 8-year-old single malt from Benromach, in a series that experiments with single malts away from the distillery's usual style. It was distilled in 2013 from unpeated organic barley malt, matured in virgin American oak and bottled in 2022 at 46%. It is described as the first organic-certified single malt Scotch. It is non-chill-filtered and natural in colour. The character is sweet and approachable, with vanilla, toast, banana, milk chocolate and spices.
