Benromach Contrasts: Triple Distilled is a 10 year old Speyside single malt, distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2022 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is a limited release and is non-chill-filtered.
The whisky was matured exclusively in first-fill bourbon casks.
The nose is bright with tropical fruit, green apple, malted biscuits and rich vanilla pod. On the palate come ripe banana, poached pear and sweet, creamy citrus flavours. The finish is long and medium-bodied, with a touch of soft, ashy smoke and lively citrus.
