Benromach – Contrasts Triple Distilled Single Malt Scotch Whisky (70cl)

This is a limited release single malt from Benromach, in a 70cl bottle. It was matured in first fill bourbon barrels. The spirit is triple distilled: it passes once through the wash still and twice through the spirit still, which gives a lighter style of whisky. It is described as delicate and sweet on the nose, with ripe tropical fruit, malt biscuit and vanilla. Banana, green apple and a touch of smoke follow.
